Flash Fiction:
The story of a lonely beggar isn't always what people might think
A short extract ...
Sitting on the street I see many shoes walking past. I often wonder if you can tell people by their shoes. Smart and tidy, wearing a suit probably a business woman. Big heavy boots, jeans and chains probably a biker. Stylish stilettos, and paint covered overalls hmm maybe not. A few coins are dropped into my tin a welcome rattle.
