Marcus Fisch was born on 15
th February 1954 (Aquarius).
Although achieving a good academic record, he was expected to leave school as soon as able to go out to work.
Throughout his working life, Marcus has held several interesting jobs from Mortuary Technician to Taxi Driver, Salesman to Ceramic Tiler.
A tough battle with skin cancer several years ago led Marcus to a forced early retirement where he can now indulge the first love of his life – writing.
Although writing since his twenties, Marcus has only submitted to a couple of publishers (much to the chagrin of his partner) and, even though receiving letters of encouragement decided to move on to another novel. Indeed, on several occasions he decided never to write again and concentrate on work. But, the lure of the written word has always proved to be too strong.
Marcus is now solely dedicated to writing and, with the support of his long suffering partner can devote all his energies into his chosen field of endeavour.
Having written three ‘Horror’ novels and innumerable short stories for the adult market, Marcus intends to resurrect them in the teenage genre and add them to his growing list of novels aimed at that market.
At the screen of his computer, Marcus is at last where he belongs; creating worlds of thrilling adventure, nail-biting suspense and, above all showing his readers that perhaps, maybe, there is still some magic left in the world.
